Chapter One CONFRONTATION
I can feel hot, thick blood gushing through my body with such intensity that I wonder if an artery has burst within me. Dizziness consumes me and I can no longer feel the Earth. I am rolling through space now, propelled along by flashes of bright colors. Fear grips my stomach and I want to vomit but can’t because I have no control over what is happening to me. My heart grows as large as my entire body and the throbbing and pounding are beating me into a state of oblivion. “Help me! I can’t stand this pain any longer!” Suddenly my vision clears and I see that I am falling at an astronomical pace, headed into a clear turquoise and green sea. I scream as I splash down and even as I find myself sinking deeply I am aware of the warmth, softness and gentleness of the water. I float to the surface, feeling suddenly healthy and intact again. “Where am I?” I wonder. A sense of euphoria envelopes me as a warm sunbeam seems to kiss me and the sea grows fingers which gently massage my body. I close my eyes and relax. Page 2 (Click here to read page 2)
